Actually, I bought a trashed seat off e-bay, converted it into 1 seat and did some major enhancements to the foam after putting a torch to the pan and reshaping it to have a nice contour over the rear fender. Then I cut 1" of foam off the back seat, leaving some of the original pan shaped foam...and also cut 1" off of about 1/2 the front seat. Then covered 2/3 of the front seat with some 1" hard closed cell (to build it up) tapered down a bit in the rear and covered the whole seat with some 1" open cell foam for comfort. The seat is being covered now and I should have it back later this week. I rode it around for 3 days with this ugly ass seat on there but it's like riding a different bike - and for 1/2 the cost most nice aftermarket seats. The best part is that it's made for MY butt and nobody elses. Anyway, be safe...Chris
